We are pleased to announce that the Emerging Technologies and Governance (ETG) journal has officially received publication authorization from the Humanities Committee of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran. According to the Ministry’s formal letter (Ref. No. 227697, dated 15 November 2025), the proposed title of the journal has been reviewed and approved by the relevant expert committee.
In accordance with Ministry regulations, the journal is required to complete the registration of its information in the national scientific journals system (Journals.msrt.ir) within a two-year period, as specified by the Scientific Journals Commission Directive dated 22 April 2019.
The Emerging Technologies and Governance journal is dedicated to advancing scholarly discourse on digital-era governance, examining the societal and institutional implications of emerging technologies, and supporting evidence-informed approaches to future policy, public trust, and accountability.
